Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaHoward Soon has had a good year. We love the spicy, peppery, licorice root nose and the streaks of black cherry, sweet vanilla aromas mixed with light, leafy barnyard notes. Quite supple with very light tannins. Big cherry, almond, peppery, vanilla, smoky cola, earthy mushroom flavours. A touch alcoholic but with fine intensity. Needs a year or so to round out. This decent sangiovese.
