Penascal Sauvignon Blanc 2003

Castilla-Leon, SpainSpanish Sauvignon is catching on. Look for a grassy, grapefruit rind, mineral, passionfruit nose wrapped up in a Euro-dry, elegant, fresh, clean style with mineral, green apple skin, grassy, grapefruit flavours. This is solid sauvignon albeit in a slightly austere, crisp style but its balanced. Try with clams or oysters. Good value.
