Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWe have tasted B.C.'s first commercial zinfandel a few times and it remains consist. Look for a warm (alcoholic) nose with chocolate, smoky vanilla, big black cherry jam and spicy, licorice aromas. Rich, ripe and fairly elegant yet dry with light tannins. More spicy, vanilla, peppery, black cherry, saddle leather flavours. Quite dry and somewhat tannic on the finish with noticeable alcohol.
