Ferreira Vintage Port 1982
Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalBig black pepper, stewed tea leaf, licorice root, spicy, pruny, dried fig aromas with underlying spirity notes. Sweet, round, soft, unctuous palate with nice chocolate, tea, licorice, peppery, dried fig and spicy prune flavours. There are some light tannins on the finish and some spirity notes but very good concentration and well on its way to become a lovely old bottle of mature port. Well done.Tasted: 04 November 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $57.99 | 750ml |
