Wolf Blass Gold Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2000

Coonawarra, South Australia, AustraliaOur sample had a natural cork but the series is now all finished in screwcap. Big coffee, tobacco, peppery, black olive, leafy, minty nose with some smoky cassis notes. Very smooth, dry, elegant entry with light grainy tannins. Lots of vanilla, coffee, peppery, smoky, licorice, mint, cassis, cigar flavours. A touch acidic on the finish but fine intensity and richness for Coonawarra.
