Sandhill Cabernet Merlot Burrowing Owl Vineyard 2002

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRich spicy, dill/caraway, coffee, smoky, peppery aromas with some tobacco mint and cherry notes. Fine dry, elegant, structure with some grainy tannins. On the palate more pepper, spicy, coffee, cedar, tobacco and cherry vanilla flavours mix with some gamey/resin notes on the finish. A touch warm (alcoholic) but has good ripeness and structure a la nouveau Bordeaux. Well done.Tasted: 14 October 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
