Dão, Northern Portugal, PortugalSpicy, gamey, cranberry, cherry nose with licorice, tobacco leaf and barnyard aromas. Ripe, round, smooth and dry but well balanced with light tannins. Smoky, cherry, licorice, peppery, cassis and vanilla flavours with a touch of cigar and cedar. Drinkable now with food but should improve over the next 2-3 years and smooth out.
