Quinta da Portela da Vilariça Touriga Nacional 2000
Alto Douro, Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalSpicy, peppery, cardamom, cherry, licorice root, jasmine tea leaf aromas. Rich, round, supple entry but quite dry. Big resiny, smoky, spicy vanilla, black cherry, licorice, plum pudding and tea flavours with slight acidity on the finish. A dryer, somewhat tighter style that needs a few more years to round out or with some grilled fowl.Tasted: 20 October 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $41.40 | 750ml | Specialty |
