MontGras Reserva Quatro 2002

Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileBright peppery, cigar tobacco, cedar-y, vanilla, clove, cassis and cranberry aromas with some saddle leather streaks. Soft, round textures on entry but rich and ripe with smooth, grainy tannins. Lots of peppery, smoky, vanilla, cherry jam, cassis, mint and tobacco flavours with a sweet Christmas pudding, olive and orange finish. A rich, balanced wine with some aging ability. Well made and worth the money. The blend is 45/30/15/10 cabernet sauvignon / malbec / merlot / carmenère.Tasted: 12 October 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
