Dão, Northern Portugal, PortugalEncruzado and bical (the grapes) are hardly household names but you might want to give this Sogrape offering a chance. Look for a rich floral, spicy, nutty nose streaked with grassy butter and citrus note. It's fresh on entry with lightweight, citrus rind, nutty, buttery, baked pear flavours and a smooth elegant finish. Tailor-made for West Coast fish dishes.
