Verona, Veneto, ItalyThis blend of 70% corvina Veronese, 15% rondinella, 10% syrah and 5% sangiovese opens with a gamey, black pepper, tobacco, smoky, roasted pepper nose streaked with black berry and black cherry aromas and a strong licorice root streak. Rich, round and smooth textured with intense chocolate, tobacco, prune, licorice, smoky black cherry flavours and a cigar, cassis, spicy finish.
