Quails' Gate Pinot Noir Family Reserve 2002

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaVery spicy, smoky, vanilla, pudding, sweet Bing cherry jam with a streak of licorice and game. Ripe, rich, round and smooth but a bit nervy with good acidity. Lots of smoky vanilla, peppery, licorice, cola, black cherry flavours with a touch of tannin and resin on the finish. Ripe, warm and oaky style will need a year or two to tame the oak but an attractive consumer style.Tasted: 07 August 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
