Tamaya Viognier - Chardonnay Reserve 2002
The Tamaya viognier/chardonnay blend is oddly a bit on the oaky side. Super ripe buttery, peach, honey, pineapple flavours mix with cinnamon and mineral to give it an exotic front end. Dry, mineral, oily palate with butter, dry lees, vanilla and honey flavours. The finish is crisp but the fruit seems overpowered by the oak and it's not necessary.
