Waipara Valley, South Island, New ZealandIntense canned asparagus, artichoke, pea pod, mineral, grassy aromas with a touch of lees. Very elegant, smooth palate with honey, grassy, canned asparagus, gooseberry and grapefruit rind flavours with a lightly toasted, mineral, honey vanilla aftertaste. Great acidity, finesse, and flavour intensity but on the herbaceous side. Drink now. Hopefully the next vintage will be in screw cap.
