Jackson-Triggs Cabernet Sauvignon - Shiraz Proprietors' Grand Reserve 2002
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaEnticing smoky, oaky, cassis and blackberry nose with peppery, clove and vanilla and saddle leather notes...quite Oz like. Ripe, round and smooth with light, dry, grainy tannins. Lots of spicy, peppery, black berry, cherry, vanilla flavours with a smoky, green bean, roasted pepper finish. Well balanced, attractive style that will improve over the next 1-2 years but drinkable now. The warm year and 40 per cent shiraz appears to be the perfect tonic for the impossible to ripen B.C. cabernet.Tasted: 27 July 2004Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $25.95 | 750ml | Speculative - Vincor International |
