Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLook for a busy sausage, peppery, stewed-tomato nose with pruny, vanilla, Christmas pudding aromas -- with a rootsy almost volatile undercurrent. Much better on the palate showing rich, warm, smooth styling with huge vanilla, peppery, spicy clove, stewed cherry, pruny coffee flavours. The finish is alcoholic and oaky with some prickly acidity but packed with flavour.
