Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLeafy, green olive, green bean, spicy, saddle leather nose -- quite an herbal pinot. Big, rich palate with some dry tannins. Lots of smoky oak, vanilla and spicy, clove and dill flavours with some olive brine on the finish. Reasonable balance but very oaky, warm and bit green, reflective of the '01 vintage.
