Aleramico Barbera d'Asti 2002

Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyPeppery, resiny, smoky, leafy, cherry aromas with a touch of barnyard and rubber. Dry, round, fairly smooth with earthy, tobacco, peppery, smoky, sour cherry flavours. Quite dry and warm on the finish with a touch of acidity but a decent effort for a barbera in a difficult vintage.Tasted: 27 July 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
