William Fèvre Les Preuses Chablis Grand Cru 2002
Chablis, Burgundy, FranceSpeaking at the Lake Louise Wine Summit Luc Bouchard described Les Preuses as a 'delicate Grand Cru that often is capable of earlier drinking.' Maybe so but look for a more powerful version in 2002 with an intense mineral nose and underlying floral and citrus notes. The flavours are rich and juicy with more mineral and chalk all elegantly packaged. A real delight to drink. Fèvre is obviously back on track under the ownership of Henriot.Tasted: 24 June 2004Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $75.00 | 750ml | Specialty |
