Pedemonte Valpolicella, Verona, Veneto, ItalyLa Roverina is a single-vineyard selection made from the same corvina, rondinella and molinara grapes used in Recioto, minus the dying process. It has a very peppery, smoky, tobacco, rootsy black cherry nose. It's dry round and elegant with fairly high acidity and smoky, licorice, pepper cherry and leather flavours.
