Morandé Vitisterra Syrah Grand Reserve 2001

Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileIntense minty, jasmine, gamey, cherry jam aromas with some meaty, cassis leafy notes. Soft, rich, round and supple style. Lots of creamy vanilla, spicy, minty, cherry, peppery flavours to entertain the palate with a meaty, peppery cassis finish. A bit warm and a touch of acidity at the end but this is a solid, fruity-style syrah.Tasted: 05 June 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
