Morandé Terrarum Cabernet Sauvignon 2002

Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileThe fruit of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape comes from the Santa Laura vineyard in the Maipo Valley. Minty, spicy, sappy red fruit/cassis herbal nose with a touch of saddle leather. Dry and a bit chunky in the mouth with chocolate, leafy, cassis, cedar, vanilla, peppery flavours. Lots of intensity but needs a bit more time in the bottle to smooth out. Try with grilled lamb sausage.Tasted: 26 June 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
