Hawkes Bay, North Island, New ZealandIntense black pepper, spicy, plum, cassis, vanilla nose with roasted pepper aromas and a touch of cedar and smoke. The tannins are ripe, round and smooth tannins with fresh plum, cherry jam, peppery, vanilla, clove and smoky flavours. Juicy and flavourful with some light tannins to shed but should improve over the next two years.
