South Eastern Australia, AustraliaThe Hanwood chardonnay has been re-styled in recent years; the wine making is less about oak and vanilla and more about upfront fruit. Look for the peachy melon fruit nose so typical of Oz shiraz but with a crispness and brightness underneath that makes you want to have another glass.
