Man Vintners Sauvignon Blanc 2003
Western Cape, South AfricaMAN Vintners is a partnership between Jose Conde and brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh, all major contributing figures to the South African Wine Industry. MAN is named after the three women in José, Tyrrel and Philip's lives: Marie, Anette and Nicky. The grapes are sourced from Stellenbosch, Paarl, Worcester and Robertson. We like the grassy, grapefruit rind, candied apple mineral aromas and its soft textures and dry palate. More grapefruit rind and grassy, apple skin flavours. A dry, grassy style that should pair well with calamari. Good value.Tasted: 23 May 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $13.99 | 750ml | Estimated Canadian Retail |
