Greg Norman Estates Chardonnay 2002
Victoria, AustraliaMost of the Greg Norman chardonnay fruit is sourced from the Yarra Valley (78 percent) with Murrindindi contributing 10 percent and the Strathbogie Ranges (9 percent). Look for cool fruit with floral, nectarine, green apple aromas streaked with mango and vanilla. Round with fresh acidity. Lots of mineral, lees, citrus rind, and green apple flavours with a somewhat buttery, toasty, mineral finish. Fresh, stylish, lean and cool. Partial barrel fermentation combined with secondary malolactic fermentation and both French and American oak ageing gives it a creamy full texture in the mouth.Tasted: 25 May 2004Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $24.99 | 750ml | specialty listing |
