Brancott Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2002

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandBrancott Vineyards has been producing Sauvignon Blanc since the early eighties in Marlborough, with grapes harvested predominantly from the company's main vineyard in the area (Brancott Estate) located on the southeastern side of the Wairau Valley of Marlborough. Look for intense canned asparagus, mineral and green pepper aromas. It is fresh and round on the palate with more canned asparagus, kiwi, grapefruit rind and a dash of bell pepper in the finish. It is well-balanced and round but more vegetative than some might like. Drink now.Tasted: 23 May 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
