Black Hills Nota Bene 2000

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2000 Nota Bene is a 52/25/23 blend of cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc/merlot. The initial nose is a bit stinky with leafy, compost/peppery reductive nose and can be off putting. On the palate, the wine is well-managed and quite expansive. The flavours are peppery with blackberry plums and mocha toffee oak. Lay down and avoid as the saying goes just a bit to stinky for us.Tasted: 11 May 2004Tasted by: Prices:
