Sonoma County, California, United StatesAnother blockbuster Benziger. Rich spicy, peppery, cassis jam nose flecked with tobacco, vanilla, coffee, barnyard and black cherry aromas. Rich, concentrated, round and supple with smooth, grainy tannins. On the palate it has a big spicy cassis, mocha, coffee flavour with tobacco, clove, pepper flavours and just a hint of mint. The structure is terrific with fine mouth feel and a long warm finish.
