Pegasus Bay Riesling 2003
Waipara Valley, South Island, New ZealandRipe apple, lime, floral, honey, gooseberry aromas with a slightly grassy, mineral streak but very ripe. On the palate there is full ripeness. It is round and somewhat sweet but otherwise elegant. Super juicy red apple, lime, mineral, honey, orange flavours with a floral note on the finish. Very much along the vein of 2003 Mosel rieslings with great acidity and is most likely a Spätlese level with the residual sugar and ripeness.
