Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon 2002
Region del Valle Central, ChileThere's a touch of merlot in the blend but this remains quite chunky full bodied cabernet that mixes coffee, mint, savoury and leafy cassis aromas. On the palate the savoury, cedar, cassis fruit finishes dry and slightly tannic. Will need some piquant barbecued ribs to tame the tannins and smooth out the edges or another six months in bottle.Tasted: 14 April 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $12.95 | 750ml | General |
