Gaja Rossj-Bass Chardonnay 2002
Langhe, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyThis wine is produced from grapes grown in estate-owned vineyards, including one named for Gaja's younger daughter, Rossana (Rossj). There is a splash of sauvignon in the mix. Expect a big mineral, chalky, spicy lees nose with light vanilla and peach aromas. Elegant and soft it is round on the palate with creamy vanilla, orange, honey floral mineral flavours. Nice finesse but soft.
