Gibbston Valley, Central Otago, South Island, New ZealandCornish Point is a new vineyard in Central Otago New Zealand. It is located on 10 hectares (25 acres) of north facing slopes at Cornish Point in Bannockburn. Look for ripe black cherry, rhubarb, compost, rootsy spice aromas. Round, soft, dry palate with tart acidity but smooth. Licorice, black cherry compote, carrot top flavours. Good pinot nose if a bit tart with good intensity.Tasted: 23 March 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
