Geyser Peak Chardonnay Alexander Valley 2002

Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe Alex Valley chardonnay is a big departure for Geyser Peak with its barrel-fermented, lees-stirred fruit that comes mostly off a riverside parcel at GP's Meola vineyard. The site boasts sandy soils, low yields, and cooling coastal fogs ideally suited to Chardonnay. Expect a delicious honey/fruity style nose and flavour with hint soft vanilla and hazelnut in the background. Round rich and ripe with just enough acidity to grab your interest.
