Sancerre, Upper Loire, Loire, FranceYou probably know Sancerre as the home of elegant white wine but in better or increasingly warm vintages the Loire Valley region is turning out some interesting red wines. Look for a pale cherry colour in this pinot noir and smoky, leafy, strawberry aroma. It is dry, light and elegant with strawberry, spicy, compost, smoky flavours.
