Matilda Plains Sauvignon Blanc 2002

Langhorne Creek, South Australia, AustraliaCanned grapefruit, asparagus, gooseberry, mineral aromas preview a round entry with fresh acidity and a slightly oily texture. Big grapefruit rind, gooseberry, mineral, green apple flavours are attractive but it's somewhat herbaceous and a bit bitter in the finish. Reasonable balance.Tasted: 16 January 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
