Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay, North Island, New ZealandImpressive for young vines -- and it's only the second harvest. Very dark cherry colour. Rich, full palate with soft, supple dry tannins and peppery, plum jam/Christmas pudding and smoky vanilla flavours. Young with fine near term potential of two to four years.
