Craggy Range Chardonnay 2002

Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay, North Island, New ZealandSpicy, nutty lees with smoky, buttery, creamy vanilla and melon aromas. Rich, warm, oily, creamy buttery palate with very spicy lees, nutty, waxy citrus flavours and a honey, lees, mineral apple skin finish. Like white Burgundy, perhaps a Meursault or Macon.
