Chateau Tour de Mirambeau 2002
Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, FranceThe Despagne family owns a handful of estates in Bordeaux whose reputations have blossomed of late. Made in the Entre-Deux-Mers the Tour de Mirambeau Blanc surprises with its fresh grassy, floral, grapefruit, sweaty lees, oyster shell aromas. Round, creamy, oily entry with grapefruit rind, creamy lees, mineral, passion fruit, floral, green peach flavours. Very suave, elegant style with fresh flavours well made for the region. The blend is sauvignon blanc, sémillon and muscadelle. The 2003 is current now.Tasted: 16 January 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $22.60 | 750ml | Speculative - Liquid Art |
