Chaleur Estate (Blanc) Dixième Anniversaire 2002

Yakima Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesRich full-blown spicy, creamy lees nose with vanilla, butterscotch, grassy, citrus, quince aromas. Rich, smooth, suave entry with more spicy, creamy lees, honey flavours and more vanilla, melon, grassy, mineral passion fruit and fig flavours. Quite oaky and leesy but with wonderful balance, elegance and intensity. A Burgundian style white Graves made in Washington. A bit over the top but enjoyable nonetheless.Tasted: 16 January 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
