Gray Monk Gewürztraminer Alsace Clone 2001

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOpen mineral, slate, floral nose with light perfume aromas and some meaty, sausage notes. Round, elegant, fairly dry style on the palate with slate-y, citrus, nutty, spicy, meaty lees flavours and a touch of lychee. Quite restrained and crisp but attractive for food. Good effort for the vintage.Tasted: 13 December 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
