Gehringer Brothers Riesling Private Reserve 2002
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLovely ripe nose with peach, mineral, lime, citrus rind and melon aromas. Quite dry but nicely balanced with more citrus, peach, green apple and honeyed mineral flavours. It has a fine crisp finish with plenty of fruit intensity. This is a winner for riesling from the Okanagan and should be a star with spicy south-east Asian food. It reminds us of an Auslese-style German wine.
