Domaine Combebelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2000

Vin de Pays d'Oc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceAt Combebelle, cabernet makes up a very small portion of the vineyard whose terroir (at St. Chinian) typically produces beefy wines with elevated acidities. Look for a peppery, earthy, black olive nose with added cassis, smoke and saddle leather aromas. On entry the wine is noticeably rich with black pepper, vanilla and smoky blackberry jam/coffee flavours. Cedar, leather and more cassis jam flavours mark its smooth, well-balance finish. Drink now or hold for 2-3 years.Tasted: 30 December 2003Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
