Pisse-Dru Beaujolais 2001
Beaujolais, Burgundy, France"Pisse-Dru" produced by the House of Noémie Vernaux takes its name from an old vintner's slang expression: "ça pisse dru" which means that the new vintage he has just tasted is to his liking and that the fresh juice will grow into a perfect and delicious bottle of wine. In 2001, the ripe, strawberry red fruit flavours would appear to bear out the old expression. Soft round and silky on the palate this will please many palates. Solid, correct Beaujolais.Tasted: 24 November 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.45 | 750ml | Specialty |
