Yecla, Valencia and Murcia, SpainInfierno a 70/30 blend of monastrell (mourvèdre) / merlot is a relative of the Castaño Monastrell and the Castaño Hecula. It's partially aged in small French oak barrels and is brimming with juicy earthy dark chocolate-scented plummy fruit. It's dry and round on entry with gamey, peppery, earthy, black cherry smoky flavours. A touch on the dry side but the flavours and balance pull it through.
