Napa Valley, California, United StatesBlack plum, cherry jam, chocolate and cardamom nose with some minty, peppery streaks. Very warm, round and dry on entry with slightly grainy tannins. Nicely balanced with mocha, cedar, peppery, black cherry flavours and some coffee licorice notes on the finish. A bit young and a touch raw it should improve over the next few years.
