Tormaresca Bocca di Lupo 2001
Puglia, ItalyA blend of 90/10 aglianico/cabernet sauvignon makes for an intense black cherry purple colour. The nose is meaty, gamey and spicy with mulberry aromas mixed with chocolate and licorice. Big, rich and concentrated but somewhat alcoholic. Lots of resiny, licorice, smoky game, spicy, orange, black cherry flavours. Very young with gritty tannins but good structure to age at least 2-4 years.
