Stags Leap District, Napa Valley, California, United StatesLook for a smoky, mineral, cedar nose with hints of black cherry, peppery and vanilla. Quite rich and round for Mondavi with firm tannins yet a supple style. There is plenty of smoky, resiny, plum jam flavours with a black olive, orange peel and cedar notes in the finish. It is a touch warm but with fine fruit and intensity.
