Pascal Jolivet Sancerre Clos du Roy 2001
Sancerre, Upper Loire, Loire, FranceSmoky lees and mineral nose with intense gooseberry, jalapeno pepper and apple skin aromas. Very dry, crisp style with lots of mineral slate, smoky, grapefruit skin flavours and some green melon kiwi on the finish. Quite succulent with the high acidity but well balanced for mussels and scallops.
