Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaA 70/20/10 blend of Barossa and Eden Valley shiraz/cabernet sauvignon and merlot fruit. the wine is named after English pastoralist Joseph Keynes, who settled at Keyneton in 1842 the estate offers complex fruit from low-yielding, un-grafted, dry-farmed varieties. Look for light coffee, spicy, minty, leafy nose with blackberry and licorice aromas. Ripe, round, elegant and soft on the palate with slightly weedy cassis, coffee, cherry minty compost flavours.
